Top 5 sports nude runs
October 9, 2015
This week the internet has been all about some holiday snaps of Justin Bieber and Justin Bieber Junior. The Beliebers have been going crazy.
Even Mark Wahlberg has been getting amongst it.
But Bieber’s wiener has got absolutely nothing on some of the naked efforts we have seen at sporting events over the years.
Beyondthegame.tv thought it might be a good time to relive some of the famous sports nude runs.
5. St Andrews – British Open 2000
Amazingly Tiger Woods managed to win the tournament despite Jacqui Salmond’s impressive distraction.
4. Addington Raceway, New Zealand 2011
Hold your horses! Okay so this isn’t a ‘100% nude’ nude run – but still it’s not everyday this happens at the races. We’re not too sure what the horses made of it all.
3. Wimbledon Men’s Final 1996
Melissa Johnson had been working at the Pizza Stand during the 1996 Wimbledon Tournament. She got a bit bored with pizza making on the day of the men’s final and took herself (and her apron) onto centre court.
There was a joke here about pepperonis but we have decided to let it slide.
2. Richmond vs Carlton Grand Final 1982
Bruce “The flying doormat” Doull was one of Carlton’s greatest defenders of all time. Throughout his career he shut down some of the game’s most potent forwards. But during the 1982 Grand Final there was one person on the ground that even he had no idea how to deal with.
Helen Damico and her Carlton scarf left The Flying Doormat absolutely perplexed and to this day remains one of the most famous moment’s in AFL/VFL history.
EXTRA: Many Richmond fans blame Damico’s streak for this Grand Final loss as they believe it swung the momentum of the game.
Oh – and the moment has also been recreated in a car commercial.
1. Australia vs India Cricket – 2008
Howzaaaat! Okay – so it is bloody difficult to top the efforts of Helen Damico and Bruce Doull. But if there’s one man who can do it – it is a bloke known by most as ‘Roy’. Andrew Symonds went from cult-hero to Aussie legend when he flattened this streaker at the Gabba. We imagine NRL and AFL contracts would have been put on the table after this effort.
Roy hit plenty of sixes in his time- but this is definitely number 1.
