Going to Rio | Jess Gallagher

Jess Gallagher is both a Summer and Winter Paralympian, having competed for
Australia in Long Jump, Javelin (track & field), Slalom and Giant Slalom (alpine
skiing). She has since transitioned to track cycling and in March 2016 became
World Champion and the new World Record Holder in the tandem sprint.

In 2010 at the Vancouver Winter Paralympics, Jess became the first Australian
women to win a Winter Paralympics medal when she won bronze in the Slalom. She
then won another bronze at Sochi in 2014 in the Giant Slalom.

In the last episode of Going to Rio, we follow Jess in her journey to become the
first Australian to win a Paralympic medal in both the summer and winter games.
