Sexy Team Photos: Yay or Nay?

Sexy Team Photos

Sport clubs’ sexy team photos are always a big hit on the world wide web. They combine two of the most popular search topics on Google – sex and sport.

But in 2017, is it still appropriate for athletes to strip down for the camera even if it’s for a good cause?

Calendars

The most common reason for sports team to participate in sexy team photos is a calendar. Which will most likely be sold to raise money for the club or for a good cause.

These calendars were a big hit in the 90’s and early 00’s, especially when firemen were involved!

But now that we all use our smart phones to keep up with our crazy schedules, I’m not sure the sexy calendar business is what it used to be.

Locker Room Celebrations

Athletes love to celebrate a big win, like a Championship for example. And in this day and age this usually comes with a bunch of selfies.

Professional clubs always try to give their fans a behind the scenes experience by reporting on social media live from the locker room.

Some however like to take it to an other level. Like the Danish handball team above. The Tvis Holstebro players celebrated their EHF Cup win by posing together naked in a shower… Why not?

It’s not just a women thing though. Men also love to celebrate naked in the locker room. What’s not to love..?

Sexy Team Photos: Yay or Nay?

At the end of the day, we all know why some people love them and we also know exactly why some people don’t. Sexy team photos are a way to get attention. This effective method can be vilified at times but also glorified when the end justifies the means.

I personally think that if you’re comfortable with it and that you fully understand that there is no DELETE option once it’s up online, then go for it!

But please don’t make that decision for someone else. And if you’re high off a Championship win or a champagne buzz, maybe wait a couple hours before pressing the TWEET or POST button.
